Getting Projects Completed

We worked really hard to get all our projects completed at class Saturday night.  Lily worked hard keeping the stamps cleaned as we worked on projects.  She was happy to show off her finished card.
Sue shows off her Vintage Clock card and of course, the Door Prize for the night - the new Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  (Sue is a frequent winner - no wonder she is smiling!!)
Tara shows off the box we made in class.  She loved how the Vintage gift box from class turned out so much that she stayed later to work on some gift boxes in her wedding colors to put her Bridesmaids' jewelry gifts in.  We all pitched in to help her out.

They turned out so nice - her colors were the new "In Color" Concord Crush and Marina Mist.  We added some shimmer mist of Frost White made with the Frost White Shimmer Paint and alcohol in a mister bottle then added a monogram letter on each one and topped it off with some white satin ribbon.  Viola - a beautiful gift box!!  Hope they love them as much as Tara did. GREAT JOB Tara!!
It's so cool to see someone get so excited about something they have created - that's one of the reasons I love doing classes and sharing ideas and techniques with everyone.

Join us for a class soon and see how much fun it can be to create handmade items.
Happy Stamping!

Vintage / Antique Card Class

We got together for our Vintage / Antique Class this past weekend and had a good time learning some techniques for making our cards have that old vintage style.  We made a few general cards and then a nice vintage Christmas card.
We made a vintage card with a matching little gift box (using Box #2) and the Big Shot.

Stamps:  Elements of Style; Tiny Tags, En Francais
Paper:  Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink:  Not Quite Navy, River Rock, Soft Suede
Extras:  Mini Vintage Tags, rope (from Clearance rack)

Next we tried our hand at the Cracked Glass Technique and had fun making a card with the clock from Sense of Time to look like an old clock that had a cracked face.
Stamps:  Sense of Time
Paper:  River Rock, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Natural Vanilla
Inks:  Chocolate Chip, Early Espresso, Marina Mist
Extras:  Vintage lace ribbon, 1/8" Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon, water bottle, sponges, Antique brads

Kristine changed the layout of hers a little, but it looks really great with the other sentiment available with the Sense of Time set.
Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you enjoyed what we have been working on lately.  I will do my best to become more active in my blog posts so that it is not every couple of months, but every couple of days that I share new projects.  Thanks to all that I get encouragement and ideas from while viewing their blogs, etc.
Happy Stamping!

Sharing past classes / customer pics - 2

Just adding a few more pics of some of my customers to let them know how much I appreciate all they do for me and for supporting my business.
Amos, Judy, Christine and Sue showing off their finished projects of the Shirt Cards we made for Father's Day.
Amos added a candy bar to the pocket of his shirt.
When Christine & Amos are at class together - the creative competitions begin.  So - Christine added an ink pen to the shirt pocket of her shirt.
My best buddie, Kristine helps me with classes when I have more than 6 people attending.  She is a blessing and helps me to make it through all the "crazies" of getting ready for classes.

If you would like to join us for classes, just contact me via e-mail as noted above.
Happy Stamping!

Sharing some past classes pics

Trying to do some catch up work by posting some old pics of class get togethers to show off some of my wonderful customers and friends that have been so supportive of me over the past year.  I plan on "opening" my blog to my customers for viewing and am hopeful to become more active with posting some ideas and projects I have created to help them with some ideas to make for their friends and family.

These pics are from an old class where we made Easter cards.  YES - I know we are coming up on Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas - but I wanted to share my dear customer, Christine who has helped me and my Stampin' Up! business tremendously by getting some of her friends together to have card classes and she keeps inviting new people to join us!  Thanks Christine for ALL you have and are doing for me!
Luann and Lyn showing off their treat baskets we made at class.  We all have such a FUN night with stamping - it is great therapy and fellowship for everyone.

My sister, Donna, joined us for some card making fun while she was in town visiting from Maryland.  I Love it when my sisters can join me for class - sometimes my sister, Gloria is able to make it too.

Until next time - Happy Stamping!
